Red Sox fans had to have chills upon watching this tremendous video tribute.

Pedroia joined the team as a second-round pick in the 2004 MLB Draft. He made his debut in 2006, but participated in his first full season the following year and walked away with the AL Rookie of the Year award. From there the accolades kept coming the second baseman’s way: two World Series titles, four All-Star Game nominations, four Gold Gloves, one Silver Slugger and the 2008 AL MVP award.

Having not played since the 2019 season due to a multitude of injuries, including partial knee replacement surgery this past winter, Pedroia announced his retirement back in February. Four months since the announcement, Pedroia is now getting honored by Boston and their loyal fanbase live at Fenway Park.
