MLB fans can’t wait to see where slugger Nick Castellanos will play next, but it looks like Wikipedia is trying to break the news for everyone.

Who’s going to be the team to sign Nick Castellanos? That’s a question countless folks have on their minds, as he’s drawing plenty of interest out in free agency. The slugger is coming off a massive year in Cincinnati and now several clubs are chasing his signature.

The list includes the Chicago White Sox, who have been busy over the past week in making moves. Well, is a move to the south side of Chicago a done deal? Apparently that’s the case according to Wikipedia.

Nick Castellanos to the White Sox could end up going down

What do we have here? Someone raced to Wikipedia to break the news, but don’t get too excited over there, White Sox fans. This appears to be just a rumor and nothing is even close to being finalized. However, could Chicago end up winning the Castellanos sweepstakes? We’ll see.

Whoever does land Castellanos will be adding quite the bat to the middle of the lineup. Last season for the Reds, Castellanos posted a career-high 34 home runs, while adding an impressive 100 RBI.

With those kinds of stats, it’s incredibly easy to see why he’s drawing so much interest in free agency. The White Sox would of course love to get him to Guaranteed Rate Field and see him keep hitting the cover off the ball.

In recent days, Chicago has made things official with stud reliever Kendall Graveman, while also bringing back Leury Garcia on a three-year deal. Stay tuned to see if they keep things rocking with Castellanos signing as well. We should find out more here soon.
