Sports fandom is built on rituals and tradition, like opening a new pack of baseball cards every year on MLB Opening Day. I’ve long admired my younger brother’s spring ritual of buying one pack of baseball cards for Opening Day. He started the tradition of opening one pack as an adult to celebrate baseball’s rejuvenating
